Topic: 1932 Ford Delux Panel

Working on an original 32 delux panel. From what I can find, artificial leather was used as a headliner up to the rear of the front seat area. From there, it appears there were three panels of something with exposed wood ribs, one on each side and two between. Anyone know if the flat material above the drivers compartment was cardboard or what?

Hi Jim, Norm here in Ontario. I,m also working on a 32 Panel. Mine is a standard and has what appears to be the original material above the drivers compartment .It looks to be about 1/4 " thick and resembles masonite without the smooth finish. It is one piece and was put in place before the exterior roof material was installed. It sits on the metal tabs around the foof opening. Hope this helps....Norm ps I need seats for my Delivery email deucepanel@execulink.com
