I recall reading somewhere in the last 2 or 3 years reading about the differences in the early clutch lever arms for the 1932 and later gearbox? Does any one recall this also or may be able to help. I am putting together a 1932 gearbox and the client thinks the arm he has is correct but I tell him no, not with an 01A part number. Many thanks

The Y shaped fingers that push the throw out bearing? The 32-35 fingers are slightly different because the throw out bearing had a grease cup. I do not remember a 01A (1940 part number) on any of the Y fingers. I believe they are 48- . If your going to use a sealed throw out bearing you do want the 48- fingers. Your client is confused as to what part your talking about as was I. The 01A part number is for a 1940 part and 40 did not use an arm mounted on the clutch throw out shaft. The clutch arm for the 32 did come in a couple of variations. I believe one is reproduced try Third Gen Auto. in Tenn. The 4-Cyl arm is different.
