Would anyone have a used set of head gaskets? Condition doesn,t need to be perfect. Due to lack of storage, I plan to set the heads on the block so bare cast doesn,t sit on cast. I can,t use strips of wood or washers because humidity could cause rust.

Why not just use new head gaskets? Or you could spray the mating surfaces with WD-40 and place cardboard pieces between the heads and the block.

carcrazy, thanks. I found some bristle board although thin. I prefer to use grease or vaseline on both metal surfaces rather than WD 40. I have used cereal boxes before when length is not a problem.
