Topic: 1932 Cabriolet top iron flap?

Hello all, Please, I am hoping to get some help on what exactly happens at the top iron to the top of the side window interface. Is there a weather flap? Does the flap, if there is one, go between the window and the irons? Is it there to keep out the rain or just wind? There is a snap on the outside of my irons but it looks like it hits the window frame. A picture would be very much appreciated. Trying to do it right. Thank you all for the great info.

As shown in the photos below, the subject flap is located inside the vertical door window channels indicating its function is wind protection rather than rain protection, the latter provided by the horizontal edges of the top itself.

Thank You, A follow up question.... please correct me if I'm wrong. The flap is sewn to the edge of the roof, curves up and over the window area and back down to snap on the two snaps toward the front and is there a snap on the B pillar? Will the top fold with this in place or does it have to be removed. It looks like your top guy does really nice work. Thanks again.

They are sewn into the top as you indicate, which of course means that they cannot be removed when lowering the top. There is no attachment to the B pillar at the rear, but they fit snugly up behind/inside the vertical window channel. The front two snaps need to be undone to lower the top.
