I am running a Powermaster Alternator that looks like Generator. 12 volta neg ground. It is a single wire. I have a 12volt stater solinode. It has the two lugs for power in & the other for power to starter. It also has one small lug for starting. Question is where does the wire from alternator go & were does the wire to gage go. Thanks Stan

Adding your general location to your profile might be valuable (to you). Ask Powermaster the maximum output (in amps) of their alternator and what size wire they recommend and post their answers. A good source for the single wire alternator is the terminal of the starter solenoid where the battery cable is connected.. http://www.powermastermotorsports.com/faq-alternators_a.html#15 Tom

HI when I installed a REG ALT on my 37 all I had to do , the wire going to the GENERATOR is to make the hole in the connector a little larger, for bigger stud, compared to the generator stud size, to fit stud on ALT. if you have the car wired originally there should be no problems, everything works just fine, hope this helps, 37Ragtopman
