Why did some 32 s have suicide doors versus regular doors?????

I suspect they had the suicide doors because that's the way Henry or Edsel wanted it done. Also not all bodies were built by Ford. Budd and Murray built bodies for Ford and they were built to Ford specifications. A classic example is the '32 three window which had suicide doors.

I believe that the Deluxe Coupe is the only 1932 Ford with front opening ("Suicide") doors. They were supposed to be easier for the passengers to enter and exit the car. But my guess is that they were used because it was a styling trend on the coach built cars of the period.
