Topic: 1932 Paint Codes

My Cabriolet is ready for paint and the painter was asking about a confirmation for the colors that he is using. It is winter leaf brown light for the body and winter leaf brown dark for the molding. Are there current paint codes for these two colors? Also, I assume the photo that 3W2 posted in the forum in response to a question I posted earlier about my header panel is the correct shades of the two colors. Thanks for your help in advance for this very important decision.

I'll have to check later this week for the codes of the paint used on my deluxe coupe. I believe the colors to be true to the originals as they match period paint chips.

Thanks for your quick response. I just went to the body shop and looked at the sample strips that were painted. My painter said that he had talked with PPG and they gave him codes for winter leaf brown light as 499, and for the dark as 986. They look very close to what your car looks like on the posted photo, but of course it is very hard to determine that because of lighting issues. He would like to paint the car tomorrow or the next day, but I wanted to see if the codes that you may have are the same ones that he has before proceeding. Thanks for your help in this matter.
