Will the 59AB fan location work in a stock 39 radiator configuration? If not, is it difficult to relocate the fan on the 59AB? Thanks to all...

Short answer No. We need to know the body type your dealing with. If it is a '39 Deluxe, just change the the lower pulley to the '39 Deluxe pulley & use the corresponding fan. If it is a '39 standard or a truck, change the lower pulley to a single sheave & use the standards fan mount generator & fan. Truck would be the same except for the different hub length on the fan. Yup, that's a 59A alright. I'll assume your convert is a Deluxe. Use a lower pulley from a '39 deluxe,or a '40 std or deluxe, or a '41 v8 engine. This pulley will have a single sheave and incorporate a hub to which the fan bolts to. You will also use the proper '39-'41 6 blade fan that bolts to this hub. On the 59A remove the 2 sheave pulley & install the '39-'40 or '41 pulley, then bolt on the new fan. Unbolt the fan from the 59A generator & throw under the work bench it's no longer needed.
