It should work fine. I hope that you blocked the fingers on the pressure plate to remove tension as you tightened the pressure plate to the flywheel. Tom

Thanks Tom. I just wondered because I think that 46 used a 10 clutch plate and thought there might be something different with the pressure plate application to a 39 trans. Sounds good, though....
