Continuing work on 1938 Pickup. Restoring to original color - black. Can anyone provide the correct formula and/or current-day-supplier paint color to match the original black?

I realize there are different shades of black, but if you have the Dupont book for V-8 Fords it has the paint chips. Take the book to your local automotive paint store and they should be able to match it. You could just go with a generic solid black and most people passing through town would not know if it was stock or not and that includes judges at car shows..
