Just wondering what would it take to change my 36 coupe into a rumble seat from the regular trunk. Thanks

I left an answer for you also on Fordbarn but here is my opinion. This conversion can take time and money. Think this over carefully before you decide to do it. Who;s going to ride back there? Do you want people climbing over your fenders and quarter panels trying to get into the seat? Do want them scuffing the nice paint with their shoes as they try to get in or out of the seat? Do want to lose luggage space for tours or picnics and have difficulty removing those items from the trunk area? Do you want to run the risk of increased water leaks into the trunk area when you remove the lower trunk rain gutter for the conversion? I may have missed a point or two, but I have had two rumble seat cars and would never own another for all the above reasons. Also rumble seat cars are sometimes a deterrent to a future buyer when you go to sell the car. Especially to someone who previously owned one. JMHO
