I know enough to dangerous with my new hobby. I have a 51 Ford Custom Tudor with a flathead v-8. I'm pulling the engine with the trans. I have basically everything set but not sure about using chains, where to hook to engine, or straps. Any guidance?

I like to use the exhaust manifold bolts to hold the chains, but you can use head bolts or a plate that will distribute the load over the intake manifold area. The intake area give you the best control over the engine during the removal process. Tom
