Ward, Are you 100% certain about the "972"? Typically "T" heads were utilized on trucks and Mercury's. Is that number on the face of the head?

Finally got answer. The 7 in 817 is a T. This makes year correct truck heads per Mac VanPelt in a 2009 reply to my '39 I had. Thanks, Ward Beebe
