In torque tube... not sure of year, '37 or '40. Existing solid sleeve (not expandable one). Prevents placement of seal and new bearing w/expand sleeve. is this removable? '36 1/2 ton pickup.

Yes the sleeve is removable. There is a procedure in the 39-48 Shop Manual reprint that shows the special tool required for this. You could probably make your own puller to remove the sleeve and seal. Tom
