Friend of mine, new member to V8 club bought a basket case 35 pickup, there appears to be a piece of trim missing that goes across the top of the dash below the window, is there such trim or perhaps the dash has been cut ?

Yes, there is a piece that runs across the top of the dash. I think I have one in my stash. PM me if your buddy is interested.
