Can some one please tell me if the late, Ford 49 to 53, con rods are the same as the Mrec rods of the same years?

Rods are the same, pistons & crankshaft are different. Ford 3 3/4" stroke Mercury 4.0" stroke

Thank you for the information. When did Ford first us insert bearings insted of the free floters in the rods? Was it 49?
