I think that you maybe a little premature in worrying --- check with your postal delivery person. They maybe reading it. In most cases, the Postal Service is the delay....

My issue arrived about a week ago here, in Iowa. The Postal Service is undergoing some broad changes, at least here, due to increasing deficits. Our delivery used to be at 11 in the morning, and you could set your clock by it. Now, it comes sometime between two and six in the afternoon. That said, it is another winning issue from editor Windle well worth waiting for.

Interesting thread, gentlemen. Over here on the wrong side of the border east of Detroit, the latest V8 Times never arrives until very close to month end ........ something like the 26th or the 27th or the 28th. But it's always worth waiting for. We are lucky to have such a terrific magazine. While waiting for the next issue, any desperate need for a dose of Ford and Mercury stuff in the V8 Times can always be remedied by acquiring a set of old issues from the past. Occasionally they come up for sale under Memorabilia in this site's advertisements. In date order from 1967 to 1985, I'm currently reading a collection one at a time whenever the flathead urge strikes. Which is usually several times a week. The old publications contain great material, and it's interesting to see how the club has evolved over the years.

I am waiting for my issue here in Maryland as well, and when it does arrive I will read it from cover to cover. Like Grant, I bought an old collection of V-8 Times from the late 60's to the late 80's. I like reading those old issues. I even found some pictures of one of my '35's at a meet in NY years and a couple owners before I bought it. John

Sorry, guys. I took a week off to attend the Western National Meet. Sent magazine to printer about a week later and printer did NOT mail until 10/10 for some reason. You should be getting the issue soon. Please be patient.

It's always exciting for me when my latest V-8 Times arrives. Received my copy in yesterday's mail. Great coverage on the ENM in Gettysburg, plus our RG36 members have their vehicles on both front and back covers. Keep up the good work on a great magazine!!
