The young body/fender guy refurbishing the interior paint in my '35 Tudor Deluxe is stumped by how to remove the rear window to install new glass. Is there a specific trick to that procedure? And then, what's the best way to put in the new one? Can anyone refer me to an old manual that shows how it's done?

Are you talking about the rear quarter windows or the back glass? The back glass is easy. Just remove the garnish molding and push inward from the outside and the glass should come out. If it's the original it may need more than a push as the old rubber is probably sticking to the body. If you are talking about the rear quarter windows that is entirely a different process. you will need to remove the quarter upholstery to get to them.

It's the rear glass, not the quarter panel windows. It's been in there for 80 years and the rubber is darn brittle.
