Greetings! I'm looking for a source for extendable or telescoping side mirrors for my 1947 Ford 1.5 ton truck. I've seen pictures of trucks with them, so I know they exist, but they must have been some 'aftermarket' item. Any information on what was available in 1947, as well as what is available NOW would be greatly appreciated. I've got a large headboard and will sides on this truck, and need the extra reach for the mirrors, but want to keep as 'period correct' as I can with the restoration. thanks!
