What would cause a mechanical temperature probe (1936) to fail? The indicator fluid does not return to low after the engine cools. I assume a leak, but how is it detected and repaired? Thanks for the help. Jon

Their are a few people in this country that can repair them. Check Hemmings under services. ken ct.
