Is the worm gear and shaft 42.25 or 46.50" for my car? Thank you for your feedback. +jc

The "green book" says that it should be 46.5 (48-3524, Pg. 94) The other was used in trucks, '35-'37. The worn gear for your passenger cars should be stamped 15 or 89.
