are the front brake drums from '36 to '39 all the same? i think my drums [and hydraulic brakes] came off a '39 truck. i'm wondering what to do about my front drums as they wear down. i saw some wide bolt pattern drums with a longer collar than the drums i have and wonder if they will fit. does anyone know of a way to restore original '39 drums? or want to start reproducing them!

'37-'39 front drums/hubs are interchangeable. '36's are different. On the rears I believe '36-'39 are all interchangeable, although there are outer differences. Some have circular ribs on the OD and some are smooth. John
