Can anyone help me find emergency brake parts for my old car? Looking for all emergency brake linkage and pins for both left & right brake drums. I have all new drums, shoes, wheel cylinders but nothing associated with the emerg brakes. All sources that I checked have told me I needed to look for used parts. Bob Drake, Van Pelt Sales, Macs, Early Ford V8 Sales have all been asked. Does anyone know where I might find these used parts? Even been on craigslist and ebay. I've been able to find out that the parts will fit from 1939 - 1948 according to Van Pelts drawings and this should work for my 35 with 39 rear end. All assistance would be greatly appreciated. Have you checked with: Joblot Automotive, Little Dearborn, Dennis Carpenter, or Melvin's Classic Ford Parts? One or more of them may be able to provide the emergency brake parts you need.

Have you tried Richard Lacy at earlyv8@aol.com, or (626) 338-2282, Dennis Cling at clingsaftermarket.com? Charlie Stephens

The pieces you require are listed on eBay all the time. There are currently a few listed.

There's a company called Moose Motors in Petaluma, California that specializes in early brake parts. I don't have the phone number , but they should be on the web

You could also try Third Gen Automotive in Tennessee. They have a lot of NOS and excellent used early V8 parts.
