More than scary. The current plan is to increase from 10% (E-10) to 15% (E-15), BUT ONLY FOR VEHICLES MADE AFTER 2001. The ag lobby is pushing hard for the added ethanol as the industry has taken a big hit from the loss of the tax subsidy. If they succeed in going to 30%, the government better contemplate another "cash for clunkers" program because the damage will render a huge portion of today's rolling stock obsolete, and our old cars will become lawn ornaments!
