The correct gear for my 48 with 3:78 rear I have a 19 tooth, is that the one needed. Thanks

Yes, 19 teeth is correct for the 3-78 axle. To confirm the gear ratio, look for the numbers 34-9 on the center web of the "banjo". Due to the ease of swapping gears over the years, many times the actual gearing is different from the marks. This accounts for the lack of accuracy in some cases.
