Need to remove the front windshield garnish molding. Problem with remove windshield wiper knob that have a chrome washer on it. I've tried pulling/tugging it off, tried twisting off with no luck. Any suggestions without totally destroying the knob? Thanks

you have to go under dash and remove the nut, washer, lc washer from the backside and then you remove the whole wiper control from the dash--
