Can anyone tell me what year this heater is ? Supposed to be 39 or 40 Allen E Michler AW1, USNR (10 yrs) LTC, TC, USAR (29 yrs)

I believe that is some sort of aftermarket heater. It looks like none of the pictures I have ever seen of Ford authorized accessories.

looks like a Wizzard from Western Auto, or an Arvin from Monkey Ward. Definitly not a Ford approved acc. probably what Henry call "spurious" parts

It's definitely not a Ford heater. Is there any markings on it to show the maufacturer? Most of these heaters had a manufacturer's name on them somewhere.
