Hello again I answered my own question about the serial number, after I found codes on your site, sorry to waste anyones time. Still not sure about the firewall body plate? THANKS, BILL

Prior to 1949, the firewall body plate is a "patent plate" showing the Ford Motor Company patent numbers. It came about after Henry Ford spent a fortune in court after others claimed infringement, and successfully defended those patents. The later Fords usually have a build plate that provides lots of information, such as build site, color and style of the body, etc. We all wish they had been used many years earlier.
