Anybody have a procedure to remove the distributor from a 1936 Ford? Does it come out from the top or is it easier to drop it down working from underneath the engine. Thanks, Joe

Remove the distributor from the top: On left side; #1 Remove vacuum line from top left of distributor. #2 Disconnect the wire #3 Remove bolt on left distributor flange to block On the right side: #1 Remove coil or adaptor plate #2 Remove the two mounting bolts through flange to block #3 Remove distributor and rotate it to bring it below the right water pump into the fender bulge beneath the first spark plug on the right head and rotate it up an out. NOTE: The tab on the back of this distributor IS NOT centered and you need to be aware of this when re-mounting or you will break one of the flanges off. (The cam shaft slot is likewise not centered in the end of the cam)
