Topic: brake system residual pressure

Does anyone know how much the "residual pressure" is the hydraulic brake system, which is maintained by the valve and spring in the end of the master cylinder, when brake pedal is released?
My guess is around 5-10 psi; is that the right order of magnitude?

I don't know what is engineered into an original early Ford master, but the after market in-line valves sold are 10 # for drum and 2 # for disc brakes. I think you are in the ball park with your figures.
