I have had rust in my gas and decided to change the tank. Deluxe40 gave good instructions on the removal and it went well and trjford8 recommended the poly tank. I decided to order the Bob Drake tank and they are out of stock and won't have any to ship until February. C&G is out of stock of their Drake and Vintique tanks. Who else makes gas tanks? Any negatives on using the poly tank other than it not looking original?

Try TANKS INC. online. They have stainless if you want to spend that much. I may be wrong but I suspect they make the tanks for everybody.

At last I was successful in getting a tank. It is a steel Bob Drake tank. Thanks for the information.
