Has anyone used the posi super glide springs? I also wondered about the spring liners you buy by the roll. Will that raise the height much? Thanks,Don

I put a set of Posie springs on the front of a 40 coupe, they lowered the car about 1 1/2" and the ride seems to be smoother with the super slide teflon ends. On my sedans and on my truck I used the inserts, ride is smoother, no squeeks. take springs apart, grind smooth, cut the inserts to fit, ride is higher but will settle very quickly as you drive it

The spring liners require removing the old clips and fabricating new ones, as they won't fit over the increased thickness of the assembly. They will help cure squeaks, of course, but won't help springs that have become weak from age, which is most of them. In that case, replacement is best. If you want to lower your car a bit, there are "reverse eye" springs available from Chassis Engineering.
