I believe that Ford can supply the record for old Fords that show when it was bought, at what dealership etc. I have a 1940 Ford Super delux 4dr. I would like to know how to go about getting the information.

There is no such thing as a 1940 Ford SUPER deluxe. There was a "Deluxe" and what the public termed the "standard". Ford called that model the "Ford V8". Regardless and unfortunately, there is little to no records to show when your vehicle was built, which plant, what dealer sold it, etc. Pontiac has great records and perhaps others but not Ford, at least in 1940.
