  37 ignition lock question? does anyone have a mech.drawing of locking mechanism.The key cylinder is allready removed.Is the pin that moves the contact removeable? Thanks in advance for any info.

  The pin is removable but it is not easy, it is pressed in place and serrated. Some guys use a claw hammer to pull it out. I have not seen a ford diagram of the mechanism internals. It is best to work on the mechanism on the bench and not on the car. I believe Don Rogers has a written procedure for disassembly. See the V8 Times advisory panel list in the V8 Times.

  Don Rogers put together a nice set of instructions, with sketches of all the individual parts, for taking the column drop apart and putting it back together. You could send him a PM and ask him to send you a copy or you could PM me with your email address and I could send you a copy. Flathead fan also has written instructions for this but you would have to contact him for a copy of those.
