Took the '53 up to San Francisco yesterday - the Hyde Street Pier. This is an annual tour my car club puts on and is limited to just 13 cars. I always look forward to it as it is one of the few occasions I take to visit San Francisco. SF is a beautiful city, but I wouldn't want to live there. Mark Twain once said, "The coldest Winter I ever spent was a Summer in San Francisco. If you ever visit SF, no matter what time of year, be sure to bring a jacket. Lets see how this picture posts with my new digital camera...... This message was edited by MG on 7-12-11 @ 10:18 AM

MG: Nice photo. Trust you may have taken a few more from a slightly different angles. PLUS, while the image maybe a little TOO big for the website, it is a perfect size (resolution wise) for the V-8 TIMES. Many times I get good photos but the resolution is so small I can't "tweak" it to printable size (20+ megs for a color cover). I don't get a lot of material on the 50s cars so would like to see more photos and perhaps the story behind your V-8. Again, nice job.
