Does anyone out there know what size castle nut that I need for a 42 to 47 open drive banjo rear end. The nut is the one that holds the u joint yoke to the spline. I had to cut mine off and now cannot replace it. The size appears to be 15/16th fine thread. Better yet if someone can help me to locate the correct nut. Thanks

You need a 7/8" X 20 thread castle nut The nominal measure is 1/2" X 1 1/4".
