Hi, Does anyone know of a source for the the tool (spanner wrench) required to remove and install the water pumps on the 1937 to 1940 Ford V-8 60 HP Engines? If the original type of tool is no longer available is there another type of tool with movable member that will work? Please let me know. Thank you.

You may be able to grip the collar with large water pump pliers. I haven't seen one of the tools for many years. The '37 pumps were different than the later 38-40, and the short production meant little attention was given to replacement. We have purchased 60HP parts from Little Dearborn, and they may be able to help. 888/282-2066.
