Hi guys, I am re assembling a 35 after 30 years in pieces. Can anyone tell me if there is a proceedure to correctly adjust the drag link on the steering.I have adjusted the toe in as per spec but cant find any data on the drag link. The one I am using is adjustable at the pitman arm end. Any tips? appreciate it

Set the front wheels in a "dead ahead" position, then adjust the drag link until the steering wheel is in the correct "straight across" place..

35ragtop- Supereal has given you the correct procedure but I believe for the '35 the correct steering wheel position you are seeking is a "Y" configuration. Tom

Tom: I should have said "straight ahead" instead of "across".

Thank You fellas, thats great. I couldnt see any other reason for adjustment and wanted to make sure. Yes I now have the perfect Y. This is a great forum and I have learnt a lot buy reading about other peoples problems even if they are not the same year. I guess I will be facing some tuning issues when I finally fire her up! Keep it coming!
