Some after market tube shock mounts are listed as fitting 35-40 cars and others list 46-48. Is there a difference and they are not all interchangable? The front mounts are in question. Don

I believe the original front shocks are slightly bigger on the later cars and, therefore, the bolt holes in the frame are slightly farther apart. If the after market kits use the original frame holes they would be different.
