Someone tried to scam me today, they sent me a cashiers check for more than the agreed upon price, the check came from Tulsa and the guy said he lived in New York. It just did not look right. Beware

Got a name on the check or on the message from the person? Putting out the name would help the rest of us. Yes it was a scam.

Hi 39FORDPU, Sorry to hear of this scam as I was scammed the same way and at about the same time. Different person and not successful though. I checked with some legal folks and called the bank it was sent from and both said this happens a lot. Thanks again for keeping us informed and aware. 42OINK
