Hey all, Well I have lost the key to spare hub cap. I had a locksmith come over and try to pick... No luck. Only other thing I can think of is to remove the mount with tire attached and take that to a locksmith. I don't want to drill the tumbler because I don't know were to get a replacement. Any ideas, would really appreciate it.

Check the Fordbarn website for a poster named "32 phil". He is the lock expert and may have the lock you need.

Originally the ignition and the doors are keyed alike and take the round head Hurd key. For 33 the spare tire lock is the oval head and does not work with the two other cylinders. Originally the cylinder is attached to the rim by three spring loaded pins. If you can get to the rear (I don't think so, curved neck on the mount) by removing the mount try using a heavy screwdriver to retract the three retaining pins by pushing them toward the cylinder. Keep looking for the key, try the glove box.

Thanks guys, This car has been in my family since the mid 70's. Long story short... I called my brother he went through Dads old tool box and found this key. Waiting for USPS to get it to me. It's either spare tire or gas cap. Fingers crossed but it looks promising. Thanks Again, Chris
