Well it is finally running. It has been months since my last post regarding issues with my '38 Fordor Deluxe. A great V8 mechanic and friend finally had time to work on the car. The car was having fuel issues. No gas was getting to the carb from either the mechanical or electric fuel pumps. First he determined the electric pump was bad. Still no gas after installing the new pump. The electric fuel pump switch was also bad. He rerouted the fuel lines correctly. When the car was restored prior to 2002 the spaghetti jungle of lines was installed. The mechanical pump was also bad so a new one was installed. Next he found the fuel line to the carb was striped at the carb. So another new component was installed. Yes, a new carb. The car started, but was having issues starting. He cleaned the ignition switch. I drove it home yesterday and it ran great. First time since late April / early May.

Well, if it runs as good as it looks, then you are blessed. Very nice 38; drive the wheels off of it, and enjoy the ride!
