Our 1947 Mercury has a steering lock key. This is not the same as the ignition key. Does the steering lock key also fit the trunk and glove box locks. Thank You

When the car was assembled it came with two distinct keys. One fit both the door lock and ignition lock. The other key fit the luggage compartment and the glove box. Lots of things get changed 79 years, one or more of your locks most likely falls into the "changed" category. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
