Today I learned from the EFV8 38-39 book that there were 2 variations of the 1939 regulator, one made by Ford and the second by RBM Mfg (see photo #1). Previously I had only seen the RBM version (photo #2). Meanwhile I received a response to my WTB classified ad offering what looks like a '39 Ford-built regulator (photos 3-5). Russ, that black one appears to be correct. Please be careful with the transaction as there is way too many scammers. Is the fellow a member? I'd suggest you get his full name and address and then do a google search of the property. Due diligence my friend.... Mike "Kube" Kubarth
