Topic: how to remove seal and sleeve from torque tube

after purchasing a center torque tube bearing kit from Skip Haney, I realized I need to remove and replace the front seal and bearing ring first. I think it needs to be driven out the front from the rear of the tube, but now with the existing center bearing in place, what are my options. The center bearing needs to be driven out front to rear but my front seal is in the way!

I will contact Skip, but I thought i would get a quicker response on this site.

You need to be a registered member of the Fordbarn. Then do a search for posts by Mart. As an alternative do a search on You Tube.

determination, an old propeller shaft, and a bfh got the seal and bearing ring out! now I can drive out (hopefully) my old center bearing. Did I mention that the torque tube is the sewer pipe of the flathead! and most likely the T and model A
