James, we’re 3000 miles apart and experiencing the exact same problem. I get FB on my iPhone just fine. I get the 403 forbidden on my iMac with chrome, but it’s OK with Safari. No other website, and apparently no other browser is affected. Here’s hoping someone out there can come up with an answer we can use! Alan

I believe that both of you are experiencing what is called --- your cache is full. Cache is a computer term for the place where all those temporary internet entries go -- such things as when you do a search. They eventually fill up your temporary internet file and make it so that you can't sign onto sites. There is an easy fix. But, I will have to tell you that all the sites that you clicked on "Remember Me" will have your UserID and password erased, so you need to write down those UserIDs and passwords because you will have to sign in again to get to those sites. OK -- how to clear your cache. Open your browser In the upper right hand corner is 3 dots Click on the 3 dots A menu will be displayed Find Delete Browsing Files Click on it Another screen will open The display will now show you 3 choices - I suggest that you click on all 3 choices to clean up (you will be deleting your 'cookies', which mean that your sites that remember you will be erased) The clean up will run for a while --- depending how full your cache is Once done, try and log into the site you want to sign into Hope this helps -- and write it down because you will probably need to do it again before the year is over Web Administrator This message was edited by efv8CofAAdmin on 8-17-25 @ 8:39 PM

I'll try your remedy, but it is strange that it is happening to people all over the country, right now. Coincidence? I think not. Thanks! F F

The problem could also be caused by the site not allowing an update - either to the software or the security compliance of the site. If so many are having the same problem, then it certainly sounds like the site has issues. Web Administrator

It looks like Chrome is the problem. I get a message on my iMac that Chrome is no longer supported. Alan
