After I drive my 1941 Ford & it gets hot the brakes don't release! Is there a vent or something that is plugged? Thanks in advancr!

The brake rod going to the master cylinder is probably too tight covering the return port. he fluid heats up and has no were to go causing the brakes to drag.

Adjust the pushrod to the master cylinder for at least 1/4" measured at the pedal. The pushrod should not touch the master cylinder piston when the pedal is at the top of its travel. I get under the car and listen for the metallic click when the rod hits the piston, while adjusting the rod.

MOST LIKELY THE ROD IS ADJUSTED TOO LONG AS OTHERS HAVE SUGGESTED. HOWEVER, THE CAP ON THE MASTRE CYLINDER IS VENTED. IF THAT VENT IS CLOGGED, YOU WILL GET THE SAME ISSUE.
