Topic: 1936 Ford thermostats?

I am hoping to find a source for thermostats like these that came out of my '36.

I have already sent Robert Shewman an email to ask him about these, but haven't had a response yet.
They seem to function but are showing cracking in the body.
If anybody has a source for thermostats of this style please let me know.
They are marked with a punched S1, other than that there are no identifying marks.
Thank you,
S

Here is a set on E-Bay just don't know about running 155°. I run 180°. You could also try Third Gen

I have seen people using more traditional looking (modern) thermostats. The only place I can think of to use them would be behind the water pumps. Is that where they can be installed if I do not reuse these in the upper hoses of the radiator?

Thank you Bob. I agree that 155 is pretty low and would rather be in the 180 deg. range.
