Topic: 1936 front engine supports? Reproductions? NOS?

Shane R.    -- 07-21-2025 @ 12:21 PM
I have been searching for a good pair of front engine supports for my 36 Ford. Does anybody have a line on reproductions and or maybe have a good set to sell?
Mine may be ok, but with the difficulty in replacing them I would rather do so now while the front end is apart rather than have my set begin to leak in a few years.

Pictures of mine are below.
Do you think I need to replace them?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

They are not the worst that I have seen. And, if you are going to replace them, now would be the time.
Replacements are available (used) in better shape.
Suggest that you enter a Wanted Ad on this site.

There are probably some available (again used) at large swap meets.

Thanks. I figured they weren't horrible. Used ones that I have seen look worse.

I am still able to get a solid clamping surface. I guess with the system being unpressurized that is sufficient.

That said, if somebody has a better set to sell I would be interested.

Have you "Bob Drake" in Oregon or Dennis Carpenter?

  Flatfoot,
I have tried both places and have not seen any in their parts listings. Thank you for the thoughts though.

If the ones from Kube don't work out try the Early Ford Store in San Dimas, CA
