Does anyone know what type of seal goes inside the input shaft cone on a 36 ford. There looks like a broken cork seal of some sort in there now. Thanks...

Transmission ? input bearing retainer? No seal for 36 the inside of the retainer has a spiral groove to return the oil back to the transmission. The 37 and up retainers do have a seal and will bolt onto the early transmission.
